Full BMR capability to compliment snapshotting capabilities while also allowing for granular file level and individual database level restore for your clients. Utilize the Bacula4Hosts API to integrate the solution into your customer facing platforms to allow for direct customer access. Advanced VMware Plugin (coming soon), allowing you to backup entire pools of instances without installing File Daemons or agents on each individual VM. Advanced integration with Cloudstack (coming soon), allowing seamless self service of your Cloud customers to add and manage Bacula4Hosts backup and recovery services to your cloud solutions.

VMWare Plugin - Coming Soon Utilizing the advanced VMware plugin, service providers are able to backup entire VMware pools and all Virtual Machines (VM's) within those pools without the need to install File Daemons (FDs) on each VM. Granularly restore a single VM, or restore an entire pool. File level or Full Bare Metal Restore (BMR) for each VM or your entire VMware pool. *** Bacula has support for all flavours of Linux as well as OpenBSD, Solaris and many more. Although these other Operating Systems should work on the Bacula4Hosts platforms with the appropriate File Daemons (FD) from Bacula installed, Bacula4Hosts does not currently support any Operating System other then those listed. We will however be supporting all Bacula supported Operating Systems in future releases.
